City Nature Challenge (CNC) is a global event where “cities” around the world promote exploration of urban nature through participatory science. This year, NEWLT is helping to coordinate Northeast Wisconsin’s participation in CNC along with Brown County Parks and the Green Bay Conservation Corps.

As part of this event, NEWLT will be hosting a BioBlitz on Saturday, April 26, from 2:00 – 3:30 PM, at Memorial Park in Neenah. Join us as we explore the plant, animal, and fungi we can find in and around the park. We will be identifying and documenting the species we find using the participatory science program iNaturalist, a program you can make use of outside of this event as well. All are invited to attend, regardless of age or prior experience.
